Bill Stewart's Focus: Legislative and Thermal Solar

Novato- and Sonoma-based SolarCraft, a solar industry leader, announced the president of the company, Bill Stewart, has been appointed to the California Solar Energy Industries Association (CALSEIA) Board of Directors.

Founded in 1977, CALSEIA is governed by a 15-member Board of Directors elected by the membership. SolarCraft’s Bill Stewart’s key area of focus will be in legislative and thermal committees.

CALSEIA’s mission is to expand the use of all solar technologies in California and establish a sustainable industry for a clean energy future. CALSEIA supports the widespread adoption of solar thermal and photovoltaic systems by educating consumers, supporting solar legislation and conducting business in a professional and ethical manner. CALSEIA retains a full-time lobbyist who aggressively helps develop and implement pro-solar legislation in California every year.
